Research Interests:
Dr. Al-Quthami is a graduate of the George Washington University School of Medicine, and completed his internal medicine residency training at George Washington University in 2005. He subsequently completed fellowship training in vascular medicine & non-atherosclerotic connective tissue arterial disease at Cleveland Clinic in 2010, and a cardiovascular disease fellowship training at Tufts Medical Center in 2012.
Dr. Al-Quthami’s academic interests include multi-modality imaging, vascular medicine, ischemic testing, advanced heart failure, and valvular heart disease. His goal is to develop novel diagnostic imaging techniques in cardiovascular MRI (CMR) and nuclear cardiology with a particular interest in fusion and hybrid imaging.
