Dr. Mancio was a research fellow in Dr. Nezafat's laboratory in 2019. During her time at BIDMC, she investigated the ability of radiomic analysis of unenhanced cine-magnetic resonance imaging to phenotype the left ventricular myocardium in hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. She subsequently joined Barts Health NHS Trust Hospital in the UK.
