GoFresh -GRoceries For Black REsidents of Boston to Stop Hypertension

What's GoFresh?

GoFresh is a research program that aims to test if low-salt groceries, rich in fruits and vegetables (known as the DASH eating plan) can lower blood pressure in Black adults.

What's the intervention?

​A 3-month lifestyle intervention of either:
  • Weekly groceries to your door, ordered online with the help of a registered dietitian OR 
  • $500 a month to use for shopping at your convenience.

Do I qualify?

​We are seeking participants who are:
  • 18 or older.
  • Self-identify as Black or African American
  • Live in the Boston community
