The Department of Public Health (DPH) is working with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to better understand human exposure to environmental chemicals such as lead, mercury, cadmium, and polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs).
Mass Measures is a biomonitoring (urine and blood samples) study to assess exposure to environmental chemicals in communities across Massachusetts. Results will help us address community concerns about exposures and possible health effects. Mass Measures offers free confidential testing for environmental chemicals.
