John B. Miller, MD, Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Harvard Medical School (HMS), was nominated for a 2022 HMS Equity, Social Justice, and Advocacy Award for his exceptional mentorship of trainees and medical students in the Harvard Retinal Imaging Laboratory and his support of the Laboratory's Undergraduate Minority Mentorship Program. The program offers early ophthalmology exposure to under-represented in medicine students at Harvard College and Massachusetts Institute of Technology through clinical, research, and mentorship opportunities.
