Cameron Olezene - Pipeline Coordinator (HPREP and MAPS)

My name is Cameron Olezene and I am one of the Pipeline Coordinators for SNMA. I was born in Homestead, FL and raised in Dover, DE. I went to college at the University of Pittsburgh where I majored in Neuroscience and Biology and minored and Chemistry. I spent two years studying endocannabinoid receptors and how they are affected by cannabis and by low concentrations of D-Serine. I also sat on the boards of the Premedical Organization for Minority Students, Reaching Inside your Soul for Excellence and Friendly Rivalry Often Generates Success, which are all organizations that aim to support and underrepresented minorities in college and the sciences. My current interests are health policy and disparities in underserved populations. I am also interested in politics and advocacy around issues of health and social justice. I plan to complete a master’s degree in Public Health or Public Policy. In my free time, I enjoy running, hiking and other outdoor activities.
