Achint Patel, M.D.

Achint Patel, MBBS, is a Research Fellow at the Center for Inflammatory Bowel Disease at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. He earned his MBBS from Maharashtra University of Health Sciences in India in 2025. He joined BIDMC with a keen interest in both research and patient care, and a goal of using clinical evidence to improve outcomes in inflammatory bowel disease.

At BIDMC, he conducts clinical and outcomes-based research in inflammatory bowel disease, with a particular focus on real-world data, therapeutic drug monitoring, and advanced biologic therapies. He plans to pursue residency training in the United States, with the long-term goal of specializing in gastroenterology, combining clinical practice and research to improve outcomes for patients with complex inflammatory bowel disease.
