Joseph D. Feuerstein, M.D.

Dr. Joseph D. Feuerstein is a board-certified gastroenterologist and Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. He serves as Clinical Director of the Division of Gastroenterology of Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.

Dr. Feuerstein completed his internal medicine residency and gastroenterology fellowship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. His clinical and research interests center on optimizing management strategies for Inflammatory Bowel Disease. He has authored or co-authored numerous peer-reviewed publications in leading journals such as Gastroenterology, Clinical Gastroenterology and Hepatology, and Inflammatory Bowel Diseases, and has contributed to national guidelines on IBD management.

In addition to his research and clinical leadership, Dr. Feuerstein is actively involved in medical education and serves as a mentor to residents and fellows pursuing careers in academic gastroenterology.
