Postdoctoral Research Fellow
Mostafa Soliman is a Research Fellow at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Harvard Medical School. His research focuses on improving outcomes in inflammatory bowel disease, gastroenterology, and oncology through clinical trials, translational studies, and data-driven approaches. He earned his MD from Cairo University in Egypt and completed advanced research training through Harvard Medical School, Stanford, and the NIH programs.
He has contributed to international collaborations and multi-center studies, with publications in The Lancet, Science, Hepatology Communications, and Annals of Vascular Surgery. Prior to joining BIDMC, Mostafa conducted translational oncology research at the Elledge Lab, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, where he investigated protein degradation mechanisms and novel therapeutic targets.
His long-term goal is to integrate clinical practice, research, and computational science to advance patient care in gastroenterology and inflammatory bowel disease.
