Many functions of the OMERO server are available through OMERO.web, the web interface with the OMERO server and requires no additional software. Several features of OMERO require additional software, however. To upload images to the server, manage ROIs, and a number of other features it is necessary to use the Java client software called OMERO.insight. This software, the plugins for ImageJ/Fiji, the OMERO Matlab toolbox, and other software are all available for download below. Please note that it is very important for version of the the client software to match the version of the HMS OMERO server, 5.1.4.55-gs-ice35.
