The National Conference on Medical Student Mental Health and Well-Being focuses on the causes of psychological distress in medical students, with the goal of identifying improved strategies for detection, treatment, and prevention of mental illness. It will take place on September 18-19, 2019 at the Grand Hyatt in New York City.

University administrators and faculty, mental health professionals, and students will participate in the first comprehensive, multidisciplinary forum to examine the mental health needs of medical students. The program is hosted by Weill Cornell Medicine, in partnership with the Association of American Medical Colleges, the Associated Medical Schools of New York, and the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. This activity has been approved for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™.

The Grand Hyatt is the official hotel for the conference. Please register and book hotel rooms early, as the conference takes place during a very busy time in New York.
