The 2019 Trans Health Conference is sponsored by the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, Rhode Island College School of Social Work & School of Nursing, and TGI Network of Rhode Island. This is the fifth annual Trans Health Conference in Rhode Island that is dedicated to enhancing the health and wellbeing of the transgender and gender non-conforming community. Our goals are two-fold, to increase the number of health professionals across the care continuum who feel comfortable and confident providing quality care for trans patients, as well as increase the trans community members knowledge, self-efficacy, and advocacy skills through educational sessions and connection to community resources.
