For 2020, the conference’s theme is No One Left Behind, which aims to explore some of the most vulnerable LGBTQ+ communities across multidisciplinary themes. With roughly 400 expected attendees, this year’s conference presents a unique opportunity to amplify critical voices and perspectives that have been left behind by the LGBTQ+ movement.
By bringing together diverse LGBTQ+ professionals and experts from various fields - including, media, public health, business and entrepreneurship, politics, grassroots organizing, non-profit sector, and more - the conference aims to explore the tumultuous LGBTQ+ rights landscape through a series of keynote speakers, panels, workshops, and networking sessions.
In addition, this year’s conference will highlight how these LGBTQ+ issues have impacted marginalized members of the LGBTQ+ community, which include queer people of color, queer people from socially conservative countries, queer persons with disability, transgender people, elderly folks, gender-nonconforming people, intersex people, and more.
