Mission
We aim to reduce the rural-urban disparity in pediatric mortality from life-threatening emergencies by investigating the epidemiology of rural child outcomes, evaluating preventable adverse safety events in EMS care, and testing a cognitive aid intervention for pediatric cardiac arrest and infant resuscitation. Through a comprehensive, system-wide approach, our experienced team aims to identify modifiable factors and enhance EMS performance to improve survival and outcomes for rural children.
