Harvard Medical School Associate Professor of Otolaryngology and Director of the Center for Professionalism and Peer Support at Brigham and Women's Hospital, Dr. Jo Shapiro, published an invited commentary in Otolaryngology—Head and Neck Surgery.
Her piece, "We Have Enough Information to Act," discusses the importance of physician wellness and the availability of supportive programming. The commentary addresses the argument that physician wellness is not at the level it should be and provides insight on the experience Dr. Shapiro has had in developing organizaional approaches to support a supportive work environment.
