Harvard Medical School faculty members gathered last weekend for the biannual Temporal Bone Dissection Course. Directed by David H. Jung, MD, PhD, FACS, Daniel J. Lee, MD, FACS, and Michael J. McKenna, MD, this Harvard continuing medical education (CME) course brought practicing otolaryngologists up-to-date with the latest techniques in otologic surgery, including the treatment of chronic ear disease, otosclerosis, vestibular disorders, and endoscopic ear techniques. The course also offered participants, who travelled from China, Japan, Canada, and the U.S., the opportunity to perform dissections on three fresh temporal bones in the state-of-the-art Mass. Eye and Ear surgical skills lab. The next course is scheduled for September 27–29, 2019. Registration information will be available here soon. |
