Anuraag Parikh, MD

Chief Resident, Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery

Originally from New City, New York, Dr. Anuraag Parikh is a graduate of Princeton University and Columbia University. His primary research interests include genomics and transcriptomics of head and neck cancer and the translation of these data into clinically useful tools. 

In addition to being a resident in the Harvard otolaryngology program, he is a postdoctoral fellow in the lab of Dr. Bradley Bernstein who is a molecular pathologist at Massachusetts General Hospital and co-director of the epigenomics program at the Broad Institute. 

Dr. Parikh is utilizing novel sequencing techniques to study intratumoral heterogeneity in oral cavity cancers and is investigating the use of multiplexed immunofluorescence and multispectral imaging to translate these sequencing data into clinically meaningful information. Dr. Parikh is also interested in clinical and oncologic outcomes of malignancies of the head and neck and salivary glands.
