Donald G. Keamy, Jr., MD, MPH

Director, Pediatric Sleep Medicine and Surgery, Mass. Eye and Ear

Dr. Donald Keamy is a fellowship-trained pediatric otolaryngologist who specializes in sleep disorders, sleep medicine, pediatric hearing loss, and sino-nasal disorders. His clinical and research interests focus on operative and perioperative management of pediatric sleep apnea, determining how to best treat and evaluate patients who have persistent sleep apnea in spite of traditional treatment.

In addition to treating pediatric patients with problems related to the ear, nose, and throat, Dr. Keamy has made large steps in becoming a local and national expert in pediatric sleep as it pertains to otolaryngology. He is one of eight pediatric otolaryngologists in the United States who is board-certified in sleep medicine.

He earned his Master’s in Public Health and his medical degree from Tufts University. He then completed his general surgery internship, residency in otolaryngology, and fellowship in pediatric otolaryngology at the University of Pittsburgh.
