PGY-2 Resident, Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery
Originally from Georgia, Dr. Lucy Xu graduated from Amherst College with a major in neuroscience. After graduation, she worked as a project manager for Advancing Health Equity, a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation program, researching racial and ethnic disparities in health care and ways to provide high-quality, equitable care to marginalized communities.
Dr. Xu subsequently attended the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine where she was selected to serve as a Pritzker Chief. She graduated a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society, as well as a recipient of the AMA Foundation Physicians of Tomorrow Award and Pritzker School of Medicine Leadership Award.
Her professional interests include health equity and disparities research, quality improvement, and community engagement. She currently serves on the Mass Eye and Ear Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Task Force.
