Board-certified in otolaryngology—head and neck surgery with more than 30 years of experience in the community, Dr. Peter Friedensohn serves as Medical Director of Otolaryngology at Mass. Eye and Ear South Suburban Center. In addition to practicing general otolaryngology, he specializes in sinus disorders, especially the medical treatment of failed sinus surgeries. His clinical expertise includes the sinus, nasal polyps and treatment, and treatment of sleep apnea.

He earned his medical degree from Dartmouth Medical School before completing a surgical internship at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Brighton, Massachusetts. He then went into general practice at the National Health Service Corps Newmarket Health Center in New Hampshire until moving to New York  to complete his residency in otolaryngology at Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital.
