PGY-5 Resident, Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery
Dr. Tiffany Wang grew up in Southern California and attended the University of California, San Diego, where she received her Bachelor's degree in human biology. She then went on to earn her Master's in physiology and biophysics from Georgetown University School of Medicine before earning her medical degree from the University of Southern California.
During medical school, she worked with Dr. Niels Kokot to study the impact of socioeconomic factors on disease outcomes for oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma patients. Under the guidance of Dr. Jon-Paul Pepper, she investigated the therapeutic potential of human induced pluripotent stem cells to improve outcomes after peripheral motor nerve injury.
She remains interested in both translational and outcomes research addressing the clinical problem of facial nerve paralysis.
