The Interdisciplinary Clinic for Huntington's Disease at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center offers comprehensive care for Huntington's Disease. Our team, led by neurologists Samuel Frank, MD, and Simon Laganiere, MD, employ an innovative, holistic approach, bringing together experts from various disciplines to provide personalized and cutting-edge treatments.

Collaborations with Long Term Care Facilities


Our HDSA Center of Excellence is partnered with several long-term care facilities across the region, such as Tewksbury Hospital, Braintree Manor Healthcare, and the Incompasss Group Home in Tyngsborough Massachusetts. Our physicians Dr. Sam Frank and Dr. Simon Laganiere dedicate some of their time to serve the patients in these long and short term care facilities.

Study on Genetic Markers in Huntington’s Disease

The Huntington’s disease Center of Excellence at BIDMC is inviting individuals with Huntington’s

disease to participate in an observational study from Hoffman La Roche Therapeutics. The purpose of this study is to examine genetic markers in Huntington’s disease and help develop potential targets for future clinical studies. Patients who enroll in this study will attend one in-person study visit and give up to a tablespoon of blood for analysis. 


Inclusion Criteria: 

  • Confirmed diagnosis of Huntington’s disease.
  • Able to give informed consent.
  • Between 25 and 60 years old.
  • Able to tolerate a single blood draw.
  • Able to travel to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston for one in-person study visit.
