Suzanne Welcher

Suzanne Welcher, RN is a clinical research nurse in the Neurology Department. Her experience in clinical research started with patients with type 1 diabetes and then rheumatologic diseases, primarily systemic lupus erythematosus, before transitioning her focus on patients with neurologic diseases and disorders. She's also worked in the inpatient setting with patients with abdominal transplants to sharpen her clinical skills. Suzanne is originally from Cape Cod, Massachusetts. She received her first Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology from Boston University and her second Bachelor's degree in Nursing from Northeastern University. She has a passion for providing clinical care, training team members, and advancing research to better understand and treat the implications of molecular and genetic contribution to diseases.
