Dr. Emily Oken is Professor and Chair of the Department of Population Medicine at Harvard Medical School and the Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Institute and a Professor in the Department of Nutrition at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. She is a Project A Co-Lead with the ROSA U54 SCORE Center. Dr. Oken’s research focuses on the long-term health effects of nutritional and environmental exposures on women and children, particularly during pregnancy and the peripartum period. She leads large longitudinal cohort studies that examine how early-life exposures influence maternal and child health outcomes across the lifespan.
