Sadhguru Center for a Conscious Planet
The Sadhguru Center for a Conscious Planet, founded in 2020 and directed by Dr. Balachundhar Subramaniam, is a multidisciplinary research center at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, a Harvard Medical School teaching hospital, that integrates science with yoga and meditation practices to develop interventions that promote overall health and well-being. The center conducts research, facilitates thoughtful dialogue and exploration, and builds awareness through education and community outreach. Its work seeks to expand our understanding and experience of human consciousness, cognition, and compassion. A central mission of the center is to enhance the holistic health of communities while advancing scientific frontiers through rigorous research in contemplative sciences.
