Guillaume is a post-doctoral surgical research fellow in the Surgical Informatics Lab currently on 2 years of dedicated research time as he completes a General Surgery Residency at Lahey Clinic. He works predominantly on understanding and tracking surgical skill progression during training using intraoperative surgical video, captured predominantly from egocentric recording devices. He is interested in developing multimodal models and platforms that provide surgical trainees with objective metrics of performance and personalized feedback. He is a recipient of the Josiah Macy Foundation's AI in Medical Education Grant and the Lahey Clinic's Bryan Fellowship.
