Yilun Zhang

Yilun is a medical student at the Tufts University School of Medicine who is interested in the use of computer vision and natural language processing (NLP) techniques to improve the delivery and evaluation of surgical techniques and care. His main projects include using a deep learning, computer vision model to characterize open surgical procedures and using NLP to efficiently tag and build the first open source, non-minimally invasive surgical video database. He studied neuroscience at Union College and enjoys listening to podcasts while swimming, biking and running.
