The PRECISE Trial
The PRECISE trial is a randomized controlled study to compare IVF outcomes after fresh embryo transfer on Day 3 to those on Day 5, among patients who have five or fewer fertilized eggs the day after retrieval. The goal of the trial is to determine the best day of embryo transfer.
Why Is This Study So Important?
At present, we do not know whether embryo transfer on Day 3 or Day 5 leads to better results or even if there is a difference. This would be the first clinical study of its kind to help clinicians and patients answer this critical question of which day of transfer is best for pregnancy outcomes.
The knowledge gained from this research has the potential to redefine future IVF treatments.

Overview of Study and How to Participate
Both Day 3 and Day 5 embryo transfers are common at IVF clinics in the U.S. for patients with five or fewer fertilized eggs. There is no previous data to define which one is better.
The knowledge gained from this research has the potential to redefine future IVF treatments.
