Dr. Aria F. Olumi

Dr. Aria F. Olumi is an urologist in Boston, Massachusetts and is affiliated with Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. He received his medical degree from University of Southern California School of Medicine and has been in practice for more than 20 years. Dr. Aria F. Olumi has expertise in treating prostate cancer, among other conditions . His clinical practice is focused on caring for patients with urologic tumors through open and minimally invasive, robotic, laparoscopic, and endoscopic approaches. In addition, Dr. Olumi serves as Chair of the Research Council for the American Urological Association, the largest international urologic society with a membership of over 22,000. In this role, Olumi has been responsible for oversight of multiple committees that develop plans for public research advocacy at the national level with the NIH and the Department of Defense, national conference planning, and enhancing research and educational opportunities for the urologic community. He also has been an associate editor of the Journal of Urology.
