Dr. Jamil Almohtasib

Dr. Almohtasib earned his MD degree from the University of Jordan in 2024. He completed a one-year research fellowship in the Department of Urology at the Mayo Clinic before joining the Urologic Oncology Research Fellowship Program at BIDMC. His research focuses on improving diagnostic and treatment strategies in bladder and prostate cancer through advanced imaging and outcomes-based studies, with additional interests in Men's Health research.

His long-term goal is to pursue a career as a physician–scientist in urology, dedicated to improving treatment outcomes and patient care. Outside of research, he enjoys playing sports, hiking, traveling, and discovering new places.
