An event to honor the memory of Dr. Rongxiang Xu, MD on the fifth anniversary of his death was planned for April 2020 but was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. As a result, a similar event was held on November 4th, 2022, at the Boston Harvard Club. Mr. Kevin Xu, the son of Dr. Rongxiang Xu and Founder of the National Rongxiang Xu Foundation, was present. The event was also attended by Dr. Elliot Chaikof, Chair of the Department of Surgery and Surgeon-in-Chief at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, the members of the Scientific Advisory Board of the Center, and Dr. Joseph Mills, the 2022 Rongxiang Xu keynote speaker.
