What Is The Intervention?

Why Participate In The Study?

Traditional treatments for chronic migraines such as medications, surgery, and/or physical therapy often don't work. We intend to see if a new mind-body therapy will improve pain and quality of life.

Who Qualifies For The Study?

People over the age of 18 with chronic migraine headaches (pain at least five days a week per month)

Exclusion Criteria:

- Patients under the age of 18 years

- Patients over the age of 54 years

Where Is This Study Held?

 

Classes will be held on a virtual platform.

Does It Cost Money To Participate?

No. The study does not charge participants. Materials are provided for free. Participants are provided with a small stipend associated with survey completion.

How Long Is The Study?

The intervention lasts up to thirteen weeks with sessions being held either once or twice a week. Each session lasts approximately 1.5 - 2 hours.

When Does The Study Start?

The study recruits interested participants on a rolling basis. We are constantly seeking interested people. The treatment intervention is provided several times a year.

How is the Study Funded?
This study is funded through an open philanthropic grant provided by Jim O'Shaughnessy.
