The AARC Congress, officially known as the American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC) International Respiratory Convention & Exhibition, is the premier annual conference for respiratory care professionals in the United States. The meeting brings together respiratory therapists, physicians, researchers, educators, students, and industry leaders to share the latest advances in pulmonary and critical care medicine. Through scientific lectures, hands-on workshops, research presentations, and technology exhibits, attendees gain exposure to emerging evidence, innovative respiratory care practices, and new medical devices that can improve patient outcomes. The Congress also serves as an important venue for professional networking, continuing education, and dissemination of research, making it a cornerstone event for advancing the field of respiratory care.
The AARC Congress will take place November 14–17, 2026, in New Orleans, LA, where Andrea Forman, MSc, RRT-NPS, ACCS, will present Noninvasive Estimation of Pleural Pressures Using Pressure–Volume Curves. This research was conducted in collaboration with Eduardo Padrao and Elias Baedorf-Kassis and has been selected as an Editor's Choice presentation, recognizing its scientific merit and relevance to advancing respiratory care and critical care medicine.
