Dr. Trisha Pasricha and her laboratory at the BIDMC Institute for Gut-Brain Research were featured in the December Findings feature of the Harvard Gazette. The profile highlights the work examining the possibly gut-first origins of Parkinson's disease.
“Parkinson’s disease is very well known and that galvanizes a lot of research,” Pasricha said. “What we often find in science is that when we understand mechanisms behind one disease, it teaches us lessons that we can apply to the other diseases too.”
