Training and Motility Fellowship

We are proud to offer a rigorous training program in neurogastroenterology and motility. This one-year training program will provide fellows advanced expertise in the management of neurogastrointestinal disorders. For those with a special interest in women’s health, we offer a special track in women's digestive health disorders.

During their training at the Institute for Gut-Brain Research, fellows will gain experience in outpatient diagnosis and management of irritable bowel disease (IBS), gastroparesis, functional dyspepsia, endometriosis, abdominal bloating, and rectal evacuation disorders. The fellow will be mentored by and work with our team of neurogastroenterologists and participate in our range of bench-to-bedside research opportunities during their year.

Fellows will continue to have access to our wide breadth of current didactic conferences across GI and our translational research unit. Graduates of the program will be prepared for a career as an academic gastroenterologist with an expertise in neurogastroenterology and motility.
