Early the morning of October 25, 2017 the HMS OMERO server will receive some significant upgrades. The main changes will be the addition of pixel and thumbnail microservices. The addition of these microservices should significantly increase the overall performance of the server. The rendering of images and thumbnails should be noticably quicker. Downtime to install the microservices will be minimal and should be completed before 4am.
