We have enable public data sharing on HMS OMERO. What this means is that images can be moved to a public group and shared with anyone on the web. This makes it possible, for example, to send a link to a colleague who does not have an account on HMS OMERO allowing them to view a plate, dataset, or individual image. You can also create custom websites for displaying your images to the public using a simple web API. Instead of copying images into your website you simply specify a URL of your published data.
