Associate Director of the BIDMC Institute for Lung Health

Dr. Synn is the Associate Director of the BIDMC Institute for Lung Health, an attending physician in the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC), and an Instructor in Medicine at Harvard Medical School.

His research focuses on quantitative imaging biomarkers of pulmonary vascular disease, with a particular emphasis on using computed tomography (CT) scans to identify individuals at higher risk for progressive lung disease.
