Visiting Postdoctoral Research Fellow
Dr. Boughton is an OBGYN doctor and PhD candidate at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. Her doctoral research examines obstetric and neonatal outcomes, as well as maternal satisfaction, around the time of delivery in 1,000 normal-risk nulliparous women at term. As a Mass EQLHS Visiting Scholar, she is extending this work through a large retrospective study of a comparable US population, offering a novel comparison of maternal and neonatal outcomes between the US and Europe.
