Abril Corona-Figueroa

Abril is the Machine Learning Engineer of the OB/GYN Research Department at BIDMC, currently working on our RESCU-ER and Machine Learning projects. She has a PhD in Computer Science from Durham University (UK) and a B.Sc. in Computer Systems Engineering. Her work has been published in top-tier venues of the IEEE including CVPR, ICCV and EMBC. She has also served as a reviewer for journals in Nature, IEEE Transactions and Computer Vision conferences. Her area of expertise is deep generative models for medical applications.
