General Surgery Resident and Research Fellow
Camila Guetter, MD, MPH, is a General Surgery Resident at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. She is currently in her professional development years of residency, working as a research fellow in Dr. Marc Schermerhorn’s lab and pursuing a PhD in Clinical Epidemiology at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Prior to residency she obtained a Masters in Public Health degree with a focus in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Her work focuses on enhancing the understanding of vascular surgery outcomes by applying advanced epidemiological techniques, including methods to address time-varying confounding and causal inference.
