Yuntian Guan, PhD

Yuntian joined the lab in June 2024 as a postdoctoral fellow. He obtained his PhD in Pharmacology from the University of Virginia where he studied the mitochondria-related molecular mechanisms underlying the salutary effects of exercise training in heart and skeletal muscle. Currently, Yuntian focuses on uncovering fundamental mechanisms in mammalian metabolism that may predict cardiometabolic dysfunction.
