Associate Director for Clinical Research at the University of San Francisco

Elena Hoskin manages the research portfolio for the Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI) division of the department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at UCSF. Elena studied Neuroscience at Mount Holyoke College and did her graduate work in Epidemiology at Columbia University. Elena joined the Center for Reproductive Health in 2017 after working with the Population Council for ten years. At the Population Council, Elena worked on contraceptive development and unmet needs in developing countries as well as microbicide research for the prevention of HIV transmission. Elena has extensive experience working with Public Health, Endocrinology, Neuroscience, and Reproductive Health in both academic and non-profit arenas. At UCSF, she oversees research studies involving assisted reproductive technologies (ART), ovarian aging, neuroendocrinology, Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), and fertility preservation.
