Mission

The Education Academy is an organization of radiology educators to promote the educational mission of world-class academic programs and teaching. The academy serves to help educators share best practices, promote curricula, perform education research, curate enduring educational materials, and coordinate the educational efforts and implementation of educational innovation across the department.

About Dr. Herbert F. Gramm

The Radiology Education Academy is named for Herbert F. Gramm, MD, FACR, FSAR, for his passion for educating and mentoring the next generation of radiologists, incredible teaching file collection, and decades-long commitment to the Department of Radiology.

One of our most celebrated and influential pioneers, Dr. Gramm remains an invaluable colleague and mentor today. His storied career began when he became interested in radiology as a specialty at Tufts University School of Medicine when retrieving films from the file room. Read more about Dr. Gramm here.
