On April 27, 2022, WE-RADS hosted a virtual and interactive microaggressions workshop featuring Dr. Daniele Ölveczky, faculty director of BIDMC’s Center for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, and chair of the HMS Academy’s Cross-Cultural Interest Group. This session focused on gender-based microaggressions in the workplace to equip faculty and trainees with the skills to recognize and interrupt microaggressions when they occur while maintaining a therapeutic alliance with patients and colleagues.
