On Feb. 8, 2022, WE-RADS hosted a special guest lecture on "The Unlikely Leader" by Dr. Barbara Hamilton, Chair of Radiology and Chief of Interventional Radiology at Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs, California. Dr. Hamilton is a physician leader, advocate for women in traditionally male-dominated fields, and mentor for medical students and trainees. She runs the blog "TiredSuperheroine" and is the author of the work-life balance book "Save Lives, Enjoy Your Own: Finding Your Place in Medicine."
