Leen is a resident physician in the combined Brigham & Women’s-Massachusetts General Hospital Obstetrics and Gynecology Program at Harvard. She graduated Cum Laude from Harvard College in 2018, where she pursued a rigorous curriculum in Molecular and Cellular Biology, with a secondary concentration in Global Health and Health Policy. Her academic journey continued at Harvard Medical School, where she earned her MD, Cum Laude, in 2023. Deeply passionate about women's health, Leen dedicated a research year to completing an honors thesis focused on empowering sexual and reproductive health initiatives for women in local immigrant and refugee communities in Boston. Hailing from Damascus, Syria, and Sidon, Lebanon, and having lived in Dubai, UAE, and Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, Leen brings a wealth of diverse cultural perspectives to her work. She is looking forward to contributing to many more initiatives through the MeRGE Research Lab (Muslim Reproductive and Global Health Engagement) to serve communities, locally and globally. Outside of work, Leen continues to mentor many in her role as a resident tutor at Harvard College's Adams House. You can find her on instagram @doctoraleen.
