Rasa Forati, MD

Rasa Forati is a resident in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Yale School of Medicine. She is a recent graduate of Harvard Medical School. Born and raised in Iran until the age of 7, she is especially passionate about advocacy for reproductive health equity and justice for women around the world, especially those in marginalized populations. Given her undergraduate background in psychology, she is specifically interested in the intersection of religion and maternal mental health, exploring how religion-sensitive care can be better incorporated into a person-centered approach to healthcare.
