Patient-centered clinical reasoning
We are working in multiple content areas to produce high-quality original research attempting to identify intervenable gaps in internal medicine clinicians' clinical reasoning. Our goal is to promote more accurate, ethical, and patient-centered clinical reasoning.
Who we are
Sourik Beltrán, MD, MBE is an anthropology and bioethics-trained internal medicine physician at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Sourik is passionate about improving the care of patients who are most vulnerable to errors in clinical reasoning due to either social, medical, or structural factors.
Daniel J. Arenas MD, PhD is former physicist turned data scientist who has recently developed a passion for internal medicine. He is trained in multiple programming languages, advanced statistical analysis, and object-oriented programming.
