These simulations include procedures such as soft tissue tumor biopsy, colonoscopy, vascular anastomoses, and more. Surgical residents also perform procedure-based skills on high fidelity, lifelike partial task trainers. Sessions are tailored to specific surgery rotations, including cricothyroidotomy, chest tube insertion, and breast ultrasound and biopsy. Learn more about these opportunities by visiting the Shapiro Simulation & Skills Center.
